چکیده

Two approaches for website design: The open and strongly hyperlinked structure associated with “information architecture” and a more closed approach based upon narrative techniques are compared through analysis and user observation. As a result, a hybrid approach to website design, known as the reformulated accordion structure, is suggested.

Semantic Constraint and QoS-Aware Large-Scale Web Service Composition

Service-oriented architecture facilitates the running time of interactions by using business integration on the networks. Currently, web services are considered as the best option to provide Internet services. Due to an increasing number of Web users and the complexity of users’ queries, simple and atomic services are not able to meet the needs of users; and to provide complex services, it requ...

Semantic Approaches to Structuring and Querying Web Sites

In order to pose eeective queries to Web sites, some form of site data model must be implicitly or explicitly shared by users. Many approaches try to compensate for the lack of such a common model by considering the hypertex-tual structure of Web sites; unfortunately, this structure has usually little to do with data semantics. In this paper a diierent technique is proposed that allows for both...

Navigating the Web with Query Tags

We propose to integrate various pieces of information about a web page (search queries, social annotations, terms extracted from the pagetext) into a navigational menu. This menu displays an auxiliary set of tags (navigational tags) selected with the goal of helping user navigation. We propose a novel framework (navigational utility) for comparing different tag selection methods. We also invest...
